Apart from working as literary translators, in Manzanitas Traducciones we offer different services such as reader’s reports, proofreading, and editing.
Once upon a time there was an online community which shall not be named. Yuliss M. Priego and Tamara Arteaga met while discussing fanfics, and the rest is history…
Both had joined said website and started to chat about the stories they had read as well as some recommendations and books. By chance, they studied the BA in Translation and Interpreting at the same time, from 2009 to 2013 (Yuliss in Malaga and Tamara in Vitoria), and the MA in Translation for Publishing at University of Malaga.
Yuliss and Tamara have worked together in different projects, either writing articles and reviews for RomanTica’S Magazzine, or on the blog La Biblioteca de Basileia and its Youtube channel, Las Manzanitas de Basileia, and finally in Language Corner, a language school. It was just a matter of time that they started translating together, really.
Having translated more than thirty novels, they also have several original ideas for stories in mind.
