Tamara Arteaga
Tamara, born in Vitoria-Gasteiz, has been living in Malaga since 2013. She graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the University of the Basque Country and later moved to Malaga to study a Master of Translation for Publishing.
She has always been fascinated by young adult, fantasy and romance books and wanted to combine her two passions: English and reading books. She translated her first novel into Spanish before finishing said Master and Yuliss and she translate together ever since.
She combines her job as a translator with another as a teacher in a language school in Malaga called Language Corner. Also, she’s itching to write some stories of her own.
Yuliss M. Priego
Yuliss was born and raised in the Andalusian city of Malaga. She has loved languages and reading since she was a very little kid, when she just about bought every book and English dictionary she saw.
In 2013, she graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Malaga and right afterwards enrolled in the MA in Translation for Publishing at the same college. She also studied at University of West Florida for a term.
Yuliss started to translate professionally before graduating, and from 2016 on, she translates together with her colleague and friend Tamara.
As well as working as a translator, she also works as an English teacher at the language school Language Corner, and dreams with being able to write and publish her own stories someday.
